Before having your Hydro Facial, we highly recommend a consultation. We’ll discuss your concerns and goals for treatment, plus we’ll examine your treatment areas. With this information in hand, your provider will determine the right amount of chemical peel and the proper hydrating serums.
Treatment
As you relax, your provider will conduct your facial in 3 steps. First, your provider cleanses and exfoliates skin, gently removing dead skin cells and excess sebum as it unclogs and clears pores. Next, a gentle peel is done, using peeling agents that don’t irritate skin or leave it red and swollen for hours or days. In the last step, the Hydro Facial wand infuses facial skin with custom, soothing serums, antioxidants, peptides, and other personalized nutrients.

A Hydro Facial differs from microdermabrasion in several ways, most importantly in how it exfoliates skin. A Hydro Facial uses specialized tips on the custom applicator wand for each step. During the exfoliation step, the tip applies dermabrasion through a spinning head while it hydrates skin. Suction removes the debris for cleansed skin and cleared pores.
Microdermabrasion uses tiny particles blasted at the skin to remove the upper layer, similar to sandblasting your skin. The particles are vacuumed up by the device. There are no hydrating steps nor any cleansing. Another form of microdermabrasion uses a diamond tip to exfoliate the skin, similar to sanding off the layer(s).
After having a Hydro Facial, you should enjoy the rejuvenated look and feel of your skin! You can even apply makeup after your treatment.
We do recommend not doing a few things, however. Stay out of water for about 6 hours after treatment, including showers, pools, etc. Also, refrain from exertions that cause excessive sweating.
